A November Book Swap

Good books. Great company. So much to be thankful for.

There’s something special about sharing a story you’ve loved with someone new.

Join us for THANKFUL FOR BOOKS, a cozy November book swap celebrating good stories, new friendships, and the wonderful community of readers we’ve built at The Romantics Archive.

Bring a wrapped, gently loved book and get ready for an evening of mystery reads, unexpected surprises, and a little friendly competition over which book everyone wants to take home!

This is a free event, but RSVP is required to participate.

How It Works

Bring one gently loved book in good condition, wrapped before you arrive.

Feel free to get creative with your wrapping! Think warm autumn colors, falling leaves, cozy patterns, or anything that gives your mystery book a little seasonal charm.

We’ll host our fun blind “steal or keep” style exchange, where books can be unwrapped, kept, or stolen as the swap unfolds.

Optional: You’re welcome to tuck a few small bookish goodies inside with your book, such as bookmarks, tea, stickers, annotation supplies, candy, or other little surprises. Goodies are always welcome, but never required.

What Kind of Books Can You Bring?

Your book does not have to be fall-themed or seasonal. We welcome a wide range of fiction genres, including:

• Romance
• Dark romance
• Contemporary romance
• Romantasy & fantasy
• Sci-fi
• Mystery & thriller
• Historical fiction
• General fiction
• Horror & spooky reads

Books should be pre-loved and in good condition, with no missing pages, significant damage, or excessive wear.

Please bring a standalone book or Book One in a series only. We want everyone to leave with a book they can start reading right away, so please do not bring Book Two, Book Three, or any later installment in a series.

Important Notes

• One wrapped book per person
• Standalone titles or Book One in a series only
• Please do not bring later books in a series
• Wrapping must be completed before arrival
• Books must be pre-loved and in good condition
• Your book does not have to match the autumn theme
• Optional bookish goodies are welcome but never required
• Space is limited

Because this is a free event with limited space, please cancel your RSVP if your plans change so another reader has the opportunity to attend.
